How long will it take to transfer my domain?

If you ordered a new domain name through us, it can take up to 48 hours for it to be completed. If you are transferring an existing domain name to Domainscape Internet, it can vary from domain type and TLD. If the TAG has been changed on a '.uk' domain once the transfer has been requested from your control panel the transfer should complete within 24 hours. For high level domains like '.com' for example after the transfer request email has been replied to and authorised it can take anywhere from 24 hours up to 7 days to complete fully.

As a general rule we advise to allow at least 48 hours for a domain transfer, but be advised that any DNS changes also take time to propagate too.
